Garland “Lorenzo” Dennett
Garland Dennett has been leading tours for over 40 years. Before becoming a renowned tour guide, he worked as a foreign service officer for the US State Department. His assignments took him across the globe including Israel, Paraguay, Peru, Washington D.C. and many other places. Garland finished his career as a security officer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Garland realized the value of sharing foreign cultures when his extended family would visit him during his assignments. Since then, he has been inspiring others by showing them unforgettable people and remarkable places.
Garland has spent much of his life in scholarship, religious studies, and literature. Garland has authored many works including the guidebooks for our various tours. His study has made him a valuable authority in the humanities and foreign affairs.
Nathan Bair
Nathan, raised on a farm in rural Idaho discovered real quick a love to travel. Garland is a family friend who has effected our lives for the good. While thinning peaches at the church farm Garland Dennett approached me and asked if I could help bring music to his tours. I did what any tenor would do and responded, "Let me talk with my wife." I could not pass up an opportunity to help others learn about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.
As we travel the world I have learned there I can have fun make new friends and help out and bring aid to people in need around the world. These experiences has helped me grow and become a better person.
Conner Rosencrantz
Connor is a recent college graduate. He has been traveling to Israel with Dennett Travels for several years. Connor has sang with the BYU-Idaho Collegiate Singers. His love for traveling around the globe stems from his love for people. Touring with Dennett Travels lets him broaden horizons and build bridges in varieties of communities
Jessica Perez-Dennett
Adopted daughter of Garland and Jan Dennett was born and raised in Lima, Peru. Now a school teacher shares a love to travel like her father. Jessica loves to share her experiences and love for her birth home in Lima. Leading our tours in South America experience the stories of Garland through her daughter. Jessica is fun and adventurous making our tours great.
